1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your session, preferences, and settings. QYUBIC X also uses similar browser technologies (such as localStorage) for the same purposes; this policy covers those technologies together with cookies.
2. How QYUBIC X Uses Cookies
We use cookies only to operate the platform: keeping you signed in, protecting your account, and remembering basic preferences. We do not currently use cookies for behavioural advertising, cross-site tracking, conversion tracking, or marketing.
3. Strictly Necessary Cookies
These are required for the website and platform to function — for example security and session-integrity cookies set while you use the site. They cannot be switched off through the platform because the service does not work without them.
4. Authentication and Session Cookies
When you sign in, we set an authentication session cookie (managed with our backend provider, Supabase) so the platform knows who you are between pages. It is essential for account access and is removed or invalidated when you sign out or the session expires.
5. Preference Cookies
We store small preference values, such as your selected display currency (for example AED or SAR), using browser localStorage. These persist across visits, contain no personally identifiable information, and can be cleared at any time through your browser.
6. Analytics and Marketing Cookies
None are active today. QYUBIC X does not currently run analytics cookies, conversion tracking, advertising pixels, or marketing cookies, and automated campaign tracking on the platform is currently disabled. If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies in the future, that change will require separate internal approval and, where required by applicable law, your consent — and this policy will be updated before anything is enabled.
7. Third-Party Services
The website is hosted on Vercel and the platform uses Supabase for authentication and data services. These infrastructure providers may set their own strictly necessary cookies to deliver the service (for example load-balancing or security cookies). We do not control third-party cookies and recommend reviewing those providers' own privacy documentation.
8. How You Can Manage Cookies
- Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies in their settings.
- Blocking strictly necessary or authentication cookies will prevent you from signing in or staying signed in.
- Clearing your browser's localStorage resets preferences such as display currency to the default (AED).
- For browser-specific instructions, consult your browser's help documentation.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time — including before any future introduction of analytics or marketing cookies. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or in-platform notification, and the "Last updated" date above will always reflect the current version.
